Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our B2B sales efforts. This role is pivotal in driving revenue, managing a dynamic sales team, and ensuring our strong presence at key industry tradeshows. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to excel in high-pressure environments. Experience in the promotional products industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed regional sales targets. This includes setting sales goals, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations.
Tradeshow Management: Plan, coordinate, and attend major industry tradeshows to showcase DMP's products. This includes managing all aspects of tradeshow logistics, booth setup, and engaging with potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and increase sales revenue within the assigned region. Identify new market opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners. Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, including pipeline development, sales forecasts, and market feedback. Utilize data to drive sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Provide feedback on product performance and customer needs to drive product enhancements.
Budget Management: Manage the regional sales budget, including travel, tradeshow expenses, and other sales-related costs, ensuring optimal use of resources.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management role. Experience in managing and leading sales teams and a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the marketing products industry and experience in B2B sales. Experience and contacts within the promotional products industry is a plus!
Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team. Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Travel: Willingness to travel frequently for tradeshows, client meetings, and regional sales activities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
