Sales Manager - Protective Packaging Manufacturer - Base Salary to 100k/year - Atlanta, GA
- Our client is an industry leading industrial packaging manufacturer. The team is looking to add a Sales Manager to oversee the current sales representatives in GA and FL. This person will manage the Packaging Division sales team by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals as well as managing the current training program for all new and current sales reps.
- In this role, the Sales Manager will guide, develop, and communicate a common strategic direction for the team. The Sales Manager is also responsible for creating strategies to obtain new customers and expand market penetration.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on developing sales team who represents custom Fabricated Flexible Foam and Protective Packaging solutions into the medical supply, food/bev, electronic, and other related industries.
- Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage Sales Team
- Build and Maintain relationships with current and potential customers
- Manage and Track teams weekly/monthly expenses, reports, itineraries, etc
- Act as lead point of contact for customers
Qualifications:
- College Degree in Business Management/Marketing or related industry is preferred
- 4+ years of experience in Outside Sales experience in protective packaging, flexible foam and/or custom packaging industry
- 2+ years of management experience overseeing multiple Sales Representatives
- Sandler Selling background preferred, but not required
- Experience selling custom packaging solutions, industrial/protective packaging, fabricated shape molded, or related foam products is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 60% within specific territory
Compensation:
- Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 100k/year plus bonus. Our client also offers a car allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.
