    The Sales Manager is responsible for building sales and profits through the development of effective sales processes and the growth of the sales team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for effectively managing sales leaders and associates by staffing, training, and motivating their team. This person will also have the ability to earn commissions not only through the sales of the team but also through their own sales efforts.

    Sales Manager Responsibilities:

    • Manage and lead a team of salespeople to achieve sales targets and goals.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
    • Provide training and coaching to sales team members to improve their sales skills and product knowledge.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
    • Maintain a high level of customer service to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
    • Participate in sales activities, including customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
    • Manage inventory, pricing, and promotions to optimize sales and profitability.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.

    Sales Manager Requirements:

    • 5+ years of sales management experience
    • 10+ years of retail sales experience
    • Experience in flooring, home remodeling, furnishings, blinds, cabinets, and/or other related sectors is preferred.
    • Proven, successful track record in sales goals, negotiating, coaching, recruiting, and training
    • Ability to create and lead high-performing teams
    • Ability to work within and develop budgets
    • Ability to manage pipelines and processes
    • Ability to maintain a quality and service-oriented attitude
    • Must be a self-starter and able to take initiative
    • Proven ability to create new business and client relationships is a must
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
