    Job Summary

    We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager with a background in solar manufacturing equipment sales, B2B relationship management, and business development. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of solar cell and panel production processes, strong industry insights related to solar and other technical manufacturing, and the skills to engage with key decision-makers. This role involves managing the sales pipeline, driving revenue growth, and establishing a robust market network to expand our presence in the U.S. solar manufacturing and other technical industry sectors.

    Key Responsibilities

    Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the solar manufacturing equipment and other technical manufacturing markets.

    Lead business development efforts by identifying new market opportunities and building a strong network within the U.S. solar and other manufacturing industries.

    Identify, engage, and build relationships with B2B clients, including manufacturers, equipment procurement teams, and factory operators.

    Establish partnerships with key stakeholders to expand the company’s market presence.

    Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their manufacturing needs.

    Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.

    Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.

    Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and marketing, to ensure seamless customer service and product delivery.

    Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior leadership.

    Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our solutions and establish new business relationships.

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

    5+ years of experience in B2B sales and business development within the solar manufacturing equipment, semiconductor, or industrial automation sectors.

    Strong understanding of solar cell and panel manufacturing processes and related equipment.

    Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

    Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

    Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders.

    Experience with CRM software and data-driven sales strategies.

    Willingness to travel domestically as required to meet clients and attend industry events.

    Preferred Qualifications

    MBA or advanced degree in a related field or sufficient combination of education and experience.

    Established network within relevant U.S. manufacturing industries.

    Knowledge of supply chain logistics and procurement processes for manufacturing equipment.

    · Standard work hours – Monday through Friday, 8-10 hours.

    · Heavy travel required for sales activities, 70%+. Some in-office meetings.

    Salary is dependent on experience and location - $80,000 - $120,000 annual base salary + KPI-based performance bonus and benefits package.
