The Pines Weddings & Events - an award winning event property just outside Fargo, ND - is seeking a full time Sales & Marketing Coordinator to elevate our brand awareness, boost client engagement, and help prospective clients discover the magic of hosting their event at The Pines. Why You’ll Love it Here • Competitive Salary of $42,000 - $48,000 (DOE) + Performance-Based Bonus Potential After 6 Months • IRA Retirement Plan with 3% Company Match • Cell Phone Stipend + MacBook Provided • PTO + Sick Leave (80 hours/year) • Supportive, upbeat team culture • Flexibility and autonomy to lead and grow within your role Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Marketing & Brand Awareness ( 50% ) • Manage and expand The Pines' presence across social media platforms. • Create and execute a consistent content calendar across all marketing channels. • Engage with followers on social media platforms to grow engagement. • Meet or exceed weekly KPI goals and metrics for social media and content plan. • Write SEO-optimized blog content and email campaigns. • Capture and curate compelling photo and video content. • Create and distribute communication materials such as newsletters, email campaigns, press releases, and promotional content to effectively engage clients and the public. **Sales & Engagement (30-35%) ** • Conduct weekly venue tours, manage inbound leads, and respond to inquiries. • Provide exceptional client service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to event booking. • Ensure a seamless transition from the sales process to the Client Relations Manager or General Manager. • Contribute to the development and execution of Pines-hosted events. **Event Support & Venue Operations (15-20%) ** • Learn venue manager roles, including assigned rehearsal dinners and wedding shifts. • Work Fridays and Sundays as scheduled for venue tours, rehearsals, or wedding shifts. • Assist with office coordination, scheduling, and team logistics to ensure smooth daily operations. • Work with the Pines team to brainstorm and implement new event ideas and creative initiatives. Qualifications: You Might Be a Fit If You • Have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Sales, Marketing, a related field OR 2+ years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or event management • Are a confident communicator and skilled writer • Are familiar with social media strategy, video editing & basic design tools • Can manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities with ease • Thrive in flexible work environments (and don’t mind lifting 40 lbs on occasion!) • Are comfortable working weekends and evenings Bonus Points For • Graphic design skills, hospitality/event industry background, or creative content portfolio Compensation: $42,000 - $48,000
