    Job Summary

    The Sales Operations Associate handles a diverse set of responsibilities to ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations. Through critical work in customer communications, collaboration with internal operations, delivery expediting, high priority procurement, and customer-focused data analysis, you’ll achieve great outcomes for our customers. This is a unique opportunity to learn about an evolving, fundamental operation in the company, while also making an immediate impact. In addition to daily responsibilities, this role drives continuous improvement within the Sales Organization, with ample opportunities to learn about and improve the processes and technologies we use to drive outcomes.

    Job Responsibilities

    Proactively communicate with customers about high priority orders via phone and email. Ensure order expectations are clearly understood and executed.

    Request shipping updates from suppliers to ensure accuracy of internal data.

    Expedite shipping with suppliers to meet delivery expectations for high priority customer orders.

    Collaborate with the Marketing team to draw awareness to new sales opportunities.

    Collaborate with the Purchasing Organization to escalate within supplier organizations and drive resolution of ongoing issues.

    Work with the Merchandising Organization to identify alternate suppliers and place orders with them (when primary suppliers are struggling to meet our needs).

    Communicate with the Warehouse Organization to answer critical questions about customer-impacting work and ensure it gets prioritized.

    Navigate a customer service ticketing system to log and track interactions with customers.

    Navigate a cloud-based ERP system to place sales orders for customers, purchase orders with vendors, and handle other tasks as needed.

    Navigate a Power BI analytics platform to maintain visibility on performance metrics, and work with the Business Intelligence team to enhance sales analytics.

    Work with peers and leadership to evolve processes and technologies that will set the Sales Organization up for success.

    Qualifications and Skills

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

    3-5 years of work experience, ideally within a Sales or Purchasing Organization.

    Strong understanding of sales operations and systems

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Strong organizational and time-management skills.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems including Customer Service platforms, ERP, Warehouse Management, and Business Intelligence tools
