Beatrice Bakery is filling a Sales Operations role at our headquarters in Beatrice, Nebraska!
This position is responsible for the coordination of all Sales logistics and administration, supporting the CEO and Sales staff, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from order to delivery.
An ideal candidate will have a background in logistics or administration with a production facility (food preferred but not required). But we will consider experience in any field involving a high level of semi-autonomous responsibility, strong problem-solving skills, and the flexibility to manage multiple priorities as needed.
Key duties include:
- Maintaining catalogs for all B2B grocery, large retail or other wholesale accounts requiring catalogs including item lists, specs, pricing and all activities surrounding the communication of catalog material to buyers and support staff.
- Ensuring all EDI systems and portals for B2B grocery and large retail/wholesale accounts are up to date, reflecting current specs, inventory, certifications and other required information to facilitate sales and invoice transactions.
-Effectively handling customer problems and providing a timely resolution with regards to order processing and fulfillment for shipments.
-Knowing the requirements of each customer with regards to catalog maintenance, shipping requirements and all fees and charges associated with delivery, invoicing and other account related charges impacted by the ordering and shipping process.
-Ensuring invoicing occurs on time to manage company cash flow and support sales with required info for payments and collections.
- Preparing and delivering invoices to customers in timely and efficient manner via EDI and portal systems. Supporting accounting team with invoicing from Quickbooks/Fishbowl or non-portal/EDI systems.
-Filling out relevant shipping forms and documentation required by customers and carriers.
-Ensuring new account setup and related documentation is completed on time including compliance documents.
-Identifying process improvements to find efficiencies and cost savings.
-Coordinating tradeshow planning and logistics and support sales staff needs for show participation.
-Performs other duties as directed by the company CEO
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in sales operations, logistics, administration, or other related fields involving invoice preparation, delivery ticket reconciliations, catalog and EDI or portals, and customer relations.
- Computer skills that include Enterprise systems, MS Office, Google, Email, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent
-High attention to detail and must be able to meet deadlines on time
- Prioritizing and organization of responsibilities
