Key Responsibilities
- Product Knowledge & Support:
- Develop a deep understanding of our equipment, products, and solutions.
- Provide technical support to the sales team and customers, addressing product-related inquiries.
- Assist with training the sales team on product capabilities and applications.
- Quoting & Proposal Assistance:
- Prepare accurate and detailed quotes based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure proposals meet customer needs and company standards.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy in pricing, terms, and product specifications.
- Sales Operations Support:
- Keep track of shipping from overseas warehouse(s) and coordinate with the sales team to ensure orders are completed on time.
- Maintain CRM systems and other operational tools, ensuring accurate and upto-date records.
- Source new business and new territories – potential to move into a BDM role in the future.
- Customer Engagement:
- Collaborate with customers to understand project needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Build strong, professional relationships with clients, demonstrating reliability and respect.
- Provide follow-up support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay informed about product updates, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Participate in training to enhance technical knowledge and sales operations skills.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical aptitude with the ability to learn complex equipment and systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience in sales operations, technical sales, or customer support is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, quoting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A professional and approachable demeanor with a customer-focused mindset.
