The Role: We’re looking for a Sales Operations Manager to drive efficiency and effectiveness across our sales team. In this critical role, you’ll optimize processes, implement strategic initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, ultimately helping LineLeap scale and achieve its growth objectives.
What You’ll Do:
Sales Process Optimization:
- Refine and implement processes for identifying target venues across the U.S. for the sales team.
- Develop weekly sales routing for directors pursuing high-priority venues.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead data-driven weekly sales meetings.
- Equip the sales team with market insights and tools to increase close rates.
- Standardize and streamline sales activities, ensuring consistency across the team.
Performance Analytics and Reporting:
- Design and manage sales performance dashboards and reports.
- Track KPIs, monitor progress, and provide actionable insights to guide decision-making.
- Analyze data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for growth.
CRM Management:
- Oversee and optimize the use of HubSpot, ensuring accurate data and seamless functionality.
- Train the sales team on CRM best practices to ensure full utilization and data integrity.
- Ensure all sales activity is consistently recorded and tracked in HubSpot.
Sales Forecasting and Planning:
- Collaborate with sales leadership and finance to create accurate sales forecasts.
- Assist in the development of sales plans, quotas, and strategies based on market insights.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with operations, marketing, finance, and product teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
- Collaborate with the venue success team on venue launches and upsell opportunities.
- Work with IT to ensure the sales tech stack supports the team’s evolving needs.
Training and Development:
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team and BDRs.
- Support onboarding efforts and promote continuous learning and development within the team.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations or a similar role within the tech industry.
- Proven experience optimizing sales processes and implementing sales strategies.
- Strong proficiency in HubSpot, CRM tools, and project management software (e.g., Monday.com).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
