    Job Description

    Summary
    The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for leading Snowmass Mountain Club operations, exceeding guest expectations, and executing the sales and marketing strategy. The Sales Operations Manager is also responsible for sales efforts, enforcement of all club rules and regulations, member wait list cultivation and managing all administrative responsibilities. Administrative duties include, but are not limited to, new member application process, token redemption, tracking, and reconciliation, as well as leading all member communication in collaboration with Club Communications Manager.

    The budgeted salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience, all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

    Essential Job Duties
    • Support day to day operations of the Snowmass Mountain Club team, working with the leadership team and hourly staff to exceed member expectations
    • Lead overall club operations in the absence of the Club Manager
    • Lead Sales & Marketing strategy to drive overall funnel of potential members and high rate of conversion of new memberships
    • Work closely with Club Manager to ensure service standards are at a premium level, with key goal of reducing membership attrition
    • Manage and process new member applications, token redemption, tracking, and reconciliation, as well as leading all member communication in collaboration with Club Communications Manager
    • Ongoing effort to maintain excellence in all areas of the Club, service, food and beverage, and overall member experience
    • Build report with members, to promote member introductions between new prospects and existing members
    • Interact with members daily and during peak hours to ensure members are satisfied
    • Hold members accountable to the rules and regulations, and use best judgment when rules should be amended based on a case-by-case scenario
    • Follow up with all member emails, phone communications, within 24 hours
    • Support direct sale efforts and continued waitlist generation through networking, club events, and other social events
    • Utilize checkbook to track all expenses, forecast expenses, and work with club manager to manage expenses and labor
    • Manage outstanding annual membership dues, in partnership with accounting department, to collect past dues
    • Facilitate all new member background checks
    • Manage member waitlist and proactive movement of sales pipeline
    • Manage current membership list and keep up to date
    • Manage member token redemption to include ski pass distribution, single day pass distribution, locker allocation, and parking allocation; reconciliation of all to budget in coordination with Club Manager
    • Coordinate all Club communications, i.e. special events, rules and regs reminder, token redemption, seasonal parties, and annual dues; to name a few, with Club Communications Manager
    • Ensure CRM remains up to date for all Club documents and material including but not limited to, current membership list, membership waitlist, membership profiles, token redemption and reconciliation
    • Work with VP Asset Management on annual dues increases
    • Work with VP of Sales and VP of Marketing on sales and marketing process, plans, and strategies

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5 years Sales & Marketing required, preferably in the private club sector
    • 5 years Leadership / Management required
    • Prior Club Management is preferred
    • Deep understanding of managing a dynamic sales pipeline
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Strong ability to network, cultivate relationships, and socialize with members while maintaining professionalism at all times
    • Strong computer skills including all Microsoft Office Applications
    • Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Fiduciary mindset to manage the Club as if one’s own
    • Strong financial acumen to manage to budget
    • Must be able to work Holidays and Weekends

    Additional Information

    Supervision Given and Received
    Given: Exercises direct supervision over Snowmass Mountain Club team with the Club Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, frequent and detailed review of work, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    Received: Works under supervision from the Club Manager. Receives guidance in terms of broad goals and overall objectives and is responsible for establishing strategical methods to attain them. Can formulate policies but does not necessarily have final authority for approval. Review of work is not detailed and emphasizes accomplishment of broad work objectives, rather than specific assignments.

    Work Environment and Physical Demands
    Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements. No adverse or hazardous conditions. Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance.
