    Job Description

    The NBCUniversal Bay Area Ad Sales Local team is seeking a dynamic Sales Planner in support of multiplatform ad products. This role will be responsible for day-to-day project and account management work specifically across pre- and post-sale execution. This person will be a member of the highly motivated Local Ad Sales team at NBCUniversal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in conjunction with sales marketing team to assist with specific competitive research data for Account Executive pitches
    • Once sold information received, work with client, sales team and Account Executive to collect necessary assets
    • Gather all screenshots and proof of delivery for all non-linear campaigns
    • Manage campaign analytics. Gather as-needed campaign metrics and post-campaign reports. Provide recommendations for the improvement of future campaigns and upsell opportunities
    • Work directly in conjunction with Marketing Campaign Specialist to provide data and analytics for non-linear campaign elements
    • Assist Digital Campaign Managers and Digital Sales Director on monthly billing and reconciliation
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, tools, and the latest digital marketing strategies
    • Perform in-depth competitor analysis to identify gaps in their strategies NBC can capitalize on and develop a unique sales proposition that would differentiate us from companies offering similar solutions
    • Organize and coordinate the development and implementation of data-driven and creative marketing and social media campaigns
    • Facilitate collaborations between relevant departments (marketing, content and sales) on specific campaigns and marketing projects in general
    • Build good relationships with ad community and clients by communicating effectively to understand their goals and deliver on campaign objectives
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • 2+ years of online experience in media planning or client service role

    Desired Characteristics

    • Demonstrates project management skills
    • Advanced to utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, PivotTables, and macros) to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
    • Digital media industry experience preferred
    • Well-organized and attention to detail
    • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong analytical and creative skills
    • A strong ability to perform independently and proactively while working in a team environment
    • High energy and teamwork mentality is a must

    Additional Requirements:

    • Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    Salary range: $62,000 - $70,000
