    We are an entrepreneurial, innovative, and ambitious Estate Planning Law firm in South Orange County on track for aggressive growth. We are actively recruiting for a Client Engagement Sales Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven, all-star salesperson who can successfully sell legal services and cultivate new relationships. Prior legal experience is not required but you must have a demonstrated record of success selling professional services and discussing big price points and complex problems with maturity and sensitivity. ABOUT THIS ROLE The Client Engagement Sales Specialist is a key member of our firm, responsible for direct in-person sales, lead follow-up with potential clients, and customer service. We provide all leads. No cold calling is required. We need a bright, creative, empathetic, and compassionate person who can convey the value of our services to potential clients and enhance client experience. You will work closely with other members of the legal team to develop and maintain relationships with potential clients. You will help us realize our vision of helping more people! We provide training for what you need to know to best help clients. For the right person, this will be a highly rewarding position personally, professionally, and financially. An experienced sales professional can expect to earn up to and above $100,000 per year in base and incentive compensation. This is a full-time position in our Laguna Hills and San Clemente offices. Compensation- Up to and above $100,000 per year in base and incentive compensation Responsibilities: • Conduct initial client consultations to promote legal services to potential clients • Ensure a seamless handover of new cases to the legal team for further processing • Engage with prospective clients who have not yet committed to our services • Manage a tracking system to monitor leads, new clients, and sources of referrals Qualifications: Our ideal candidate will: • Understand how to build relationships with potential clients • Successfully interact with many different types of personalities and ages • Show empathy to potential clients and put them at ease • Know how to close a sale by creating urgency and promoting value • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills in person, over the phone and in writing • Think on their feet • Not get discouraged when things don’t go as planned • Be willing and able to quickly learn about new topics (other legal products) • Treat a call or meeting late in the week with the same care and compassion as one on Monday morning • Follow instructions and understand the importance of policies and procedures • Be a team player that consistently acts with respect and integrity • Be tech savvy (we use Windows computers and specialized software) Real life experience and a few “battle scars” providing empathy and understanding are assets. Experience overcoming a major obstacle in life and making an important change in your life so you know at your core that others can do it too, is a plus. The salesperson doesn’t give legal advice, so legal experience is not required. Prior sales and customer service experience is because we can teach you about the planning process, but we can’t teach you how to care about people facing a difficult time in their lives. We are looking for a team player with a sales focus, creativity, and organizational skills to help us expand our business. The person we hire must bring a high level of energy, positivity, and a can-do attitude to work every day. We are BIG believers in the value of a team. If you prefer to be a “lone wolf,” this job is not for you. We are looking for individuals with fire and ambition, not excuse-making “clock-watchers” who will hide under their desks waiting to be told what to do all day long. We believe sales is a service we do for our prospects to help educate them and to help them think through their options and make courageous decisions about their future. We really believe that even if we decide not to accept an engagement from a prospect, that every prospective new client should leave our office better off in some way than when they came in. Compensation: $100,000+ potential per year base + incentive
