    We are recruiting a Regional Sales Manager for the Dallas-FW metroplex area. Our client manufactures high-quality flexible packaging. You will be representing a company that has the largest inventory of stock bulk bags in the USA. In addition, they stock multi-wallpaper bags, pallet sheets, poly pallet covers, and stretch film of all kinds. The main types are big bags with baffles or liners, dust-prove, conductive and food grade, container liners, and FIBC. These large bags are ideal for storing or transporting a wide range of dry products including minerals, agricultural products, chemicals, food, pharmaceutical, medical, cleanroom, and construction materials.

    Our client is one of the few bag companies that can make custom bulk bags in small quantities in as little as 2 weeks. They manufacture baffled (stackable), ventilated, anti-sift, printed, UN-certified, and anti-static bags for a wide range of applications.

    The use of bulk bags has grown dramatically over the years, due to their ease of use and cost-effectiveness. The successful candidate will be advanced in value-add selling, negotiation, and customer-relationship management skills. Must have a “hunter” mentality; strong “door opener” with the ability to be persistent, creative, and bold in pursuing new business.

    Position Summary:

    The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing multiple large revenue and strategic accounts calling on OEMs and Distributors who use and sell flexible packing in the following segments:

    • Common Liners: Tube, Baffle liner, Conductive Liner, Aluminum Liner, Liquid Liner
    • FIBC Design & Construction: Body, Filling Spout, Discharge Spout, Belt, Tellap Bag
    • UN dangerous goods packaging, chemical industrial packaging, food product packaging
    • This position involves traveling 50% to clients across DFW and in Southwest Territory.
    • Work trade shows to build relationships that benefit the company’s sales objectives.
    • Responsible for analyzing market opportunities and developing and implementing sales and product strategies within the assigned market segment to achieve profitability, revenue growth, and on-time delivery of project initiatives.

    New Business Development:

    • Manage some established accounts, seek ways to increase market share, and provide new solutions utilizing the vast array of our client's products, equipment, and services.
    • Prospect new accounts to maintain a robust sales pipeline and achievement of annual growth Targets.
    • Develop account-level capture plans to acquire business from a prospective customer.
    • Market and sell at various levels within prospective customers, including senior management, procurement, technical, and brand managers, through direct relationships within the accounts.
    • Develops, coordinates, and conducts customer sales presentations.

    Customer Communication:

    • Effectively negotiates pricing and contractual issues with customers.
    • Facilitates and assists in resolving escalating issues between accounts and payment terms, aged inventory, product performance, pricing, service, etc.
    • Planning & Sales Forecasting:
    • Recommends and prepares an annual forecast and strategic plan for their customers, including driving sales growth and enhancing profit.
    • Continually evaluates sales budget for management of overall sales goals. Implements actions as appropriate to close the gaps and create a bridge to achieve the sales plan.

    Skills and d Qualifications:

    • The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Flexible Packaging end-user applications in the food, and industrial markets.
    • Being comfortable on the factory or production floor as well as the board room.
    • Knowledge of end-user flexible packaging equipment and end-user applications in healthcare, Pharma/Medical Packaging would be a strong plus.
