Account Executive - Charlotte, NC
We are recruiting an Outside Sales Representative in the Greater Charlotte area for our client who is the leader in the Surgical Magnification/Illumination industry. Their medical device products are used daily throughout the world during lifesaving microsurgical operations and cutting-edge dental procedures.
Qualification: Applicants will have 1-5 years of successful sales experience. We would consider an entry-level candidate with the right background. This is a home-based position: You must live in the Charlotte Area to be considered for the role.
Responsibilities and Duties: The successful candidate will be calling on Surgeons, Hospitals, Operating Rooms, Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Surgical Residency Programs, Dental Schools, Dental Hygiene Schools, and Ophthalmologist. 85% of your activity will be following up on leads provided to you by the company. You must organize your travel schedule and maintain your calendar of appointments. You are expected to meet with medical and dental professionals who want to see you throughout your exclusive territory demonstrating our clients’ Magnification and Illumination solutions.
Territory: Charlotte-based territory will include Charlotte, the western half of NC (Greensboro, Winston Salem, Ashville), and southwestern VA (Roanoke, Lynchburg).
Travel: Besides the opportunities covering the territory, the company attends several dozen professional meetings shows conferences throughout the country and our sales representatives are each assigned to 8 of these a year. This means one weekend a month up to 8 times a year you will be on a plane traveling to a different city meeting other representatives from the company to work at these industry shows.
Qualifications and Skills: The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree, be organized, and self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently. Must enjoy travel. FULL TRAINING PROVIDED.
