RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively generate new sales leads and prospects within the residential market through various methods, including referrals, door knocking, and networking.
- Build and foster strong relationships with homeowners, understanding their roofing needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct thorough roof assessments and inspections to identify roofing issues and provide accurate estimates for repairs or replacements.
- Present our range of residential roofing products, services, and solutions to homeowners, emphasizing their quality, durability, and value and following our custom sales procedure (Roof Doctor System).
- Utilize our roofing software to complete customized proposals that address specific customer requirements and budget.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with homeowners, ensuring a win-win situation for both parties.
- Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, while maintaining proactive communication and timely follow-ups with customers.
- Utilize CRM systems and other tools to track and manage sales activities, maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and progress.
- Communicate with production staff when necessary to assure projects are successfully deployed and the customers are 100% satisfied.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the roofing project, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally and setting the proper expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and emerging technologies related to residential roofing to provide knowledgeable and innovative solutions to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven success in sales, particularly within the residential roofing industry or other trade industries.
- Strong knowledge of residential roofing systems, materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices or the ability to learn these systems quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and build rapport with homeowners.
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive roof assessments and estimating repairs or replacements accurately or experience with estimating in other related trades.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong negotiation skills, ensuring favorable pricing and terms for both the customer and the company.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and presentation software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to meet customer needs.
- Prioritization and time management skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
