This is a fast-paced job and will require efficiency, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to multitask. If hired, you will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing. You will meet with Potential New Clients (PNCs) with all sorts of personalities and needs, listen to them well, understand their needs, and then show them how our firm can help them get from where they are to where they want to be. Finally, we are always trying to find a better way. There are endless new sales techniques and strategies available to the ambitious, curious, and persistent salesperson. We will provide mentorship and training to help you develop and hone these skills. You need to be comfortable with the following: • Conduct meetings with PNCs to understand their needs and present our solutions through a curated sales process • Schedule and manage follow-up meetings and communications to nurture PNCs and close sales • Ensure all necessary documentation and agreements are completed accurately and promptly • Maintain a detailed record of all interactions and follow-ups to ensure timely and effective communication • Maintain a clean and hygienic CRM for accurate real-time reporting • Understand the “cost” vs. “value” of services and ably communicate the difference to PNCs. This includes quoting fees and asking for money in a direct, matter-of-fact manner. • Confront and overcome objections head-on • Think on your feet and stay positive even when things don’t go as planned • Sign new clients by clearly identifying pain points, creating urgency, and asking for a decision Qualifications: • Self-confident, full of initiative, driven to close • Persuasive influencer • Outgoing, enthusiastic, and people-oriented • Empathetic communication and effective negotiation skills • Not afraid to hear "no" because “no” is the first step in getting to "yes!" • You understand sales are not about you and do not derive your self-esteem from PNCs • Recognize every “problem” is really an “opportunity” • A boss at calendaring and meeting deadlines • Prior sales and marketing experience (5+ years), including some in a sales or marketing management role, is required • Ongoing willingness to learn and apply new sales techniques • Comfortable with computers and learning new technology or software • Self-Motivation: Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks effectively • Professionalism: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished and professional demeanor • Time Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently • Customer Service: A passion for providing outstanding client care and building lasting relationships • Sales Expertise: Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets • Problem-Solving: Ability to address client concerns and find effective solutions in a timely manner Compensation: $60,000 + competitive bonus
