  • Responsibilities

    As a Diesel Engine Parts Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with purchasing diesel engine parts. This is an in-person role that requires collaboration within the existing sales team, the ability to engage and build relationships with customers, receive training to answer product-related inquiries, and process orders efficiently. The ideal candidate will be skilled in general product sales and particularly if they possess knowledge of diesel engine parts and components. This is a full-time position. We provide healthcare benefits, 3 weeks of paid time off, a profit-sharing plan after one year of employment, and an optional 401(k) plan. Responsibilities: • Support the existing sales team with purchase and sales inquiries. • Assist customers with identifying and selecting the appropriate diesel engine parts, including turbochargers, fuel injectors, and injection pumps. • Find new customers and develop long-term business relationships. • Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers both in-person and over the phone. • Process orders accurately and handle sales transactions using company software. • Stay up to date on new product offerings, trends in the diesel engine parts industry, and company promotions. • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner. • Utilize Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Sheets, and other sales-related platforms for customer management, reporting, and inventory tracking. • Attend industry trade shows to represent the company. Qualifications: • Previous experience in product sales; diesel engine parts sales experience is a bonus. • General knowledge of diesel engines and/or automotive parts is preferred. • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Sheets, and sales-related platforms. • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset. • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in automotive technology is a plus. • Must have reliable transportation. Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 plus quarterly bonuses
