Come join an established family-owned manufacturer of thermoplastic colorants as a Sales Representative! This company is seeking a professional who will work fully remote in the Atlanta, GA area.
Job Description
As a Sales Representative you will focus on driving growth by selling systems and solutions to current and prospective customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify business opportunities and evaluate industry position
- Build new relationships and manage existing accounts in designated territory of GA, AL, MS, TN, and FL
- Understand customer needs and business goals
- Establish buying cycles, budgets, and purchasing criteria
- Stay informed of products, services, and competition
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing
- Develop and maintain a solid customer base
- Gather customer feedback for improvement
- Present products and services using solution-based selling
- Manage territory efficiently and use CRM tools effectively
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Meet sales targets and maintain accurate records
- Travel as needed approximately 50% of the time
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of plastics industry experience
- Knowledge of plastics processing such as injection molding
- Knowledge and experience working with polymers, colorant systems, and chemical additives is desirable
