Sales Representative – Northwest Arkansas
Location: Northwest Arkansas
Reports to: Sales Manager / Director of Operations
Position Overview
Streib Company is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to drive business growth in Northwest Arkansas. This role is responsible for scouting new project opportunities, engaging with customers, capturing site photos, and collaborating with estimators to develop competitive bids. The ideal candidate will be skilled in relationship-building, identifying project needs, and ensuring a seamless handoff from sales to estimation. This position plays a critical role in developing new customer relationships while strengthening existing partnerships to grow Streib's presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Scout and Identify New Project Opportunities
- Visit potential project sites to assess feasibility and capture photos for bid preparation.
- Gather key details about prospective jobs, including scope, site conditions, and customer needs.
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
* Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the Northwest Arkansas region.
* Proactively communicate project updates, answer inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Bid Coordination & Estimation Support
* Work closely with estimators and project teams to prepare competitive bids.
* Provide field insights, including site conditions and customer preferences, to ensure accurate proposals.
* Follow up on bid submissions and assist in securing projects.
- Market Growth & Business Development
* Identify potential opportunities for expansion and additional services.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer relations (preferred in construction, electrical, or related industries).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Basic knowledge of construction sites and bidding processes (preferred but not required).
- Comfortable working in the field, traveling to job sites, and capturing site photos.
- Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive in identifying opportunities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Northwest Arkansas.
