Position Overview:
As a Telecommunications Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving our sales initiatives and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage potential clients, understand their telecommunication needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs. You will also maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and drive repeat business.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Acquisition: Proactively reach out to potential clients through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person meetings. Present and promote our telecom products and services to achieve sales targets.
Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' telecommunication needs. Offer customized solutions and demonstrate how our products can benefit their business operations.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our telecom products, services, and industry trends. Stay updated on new offerings and technologies to provide accurate information to clients.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients. Address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other sales representatives, customer support, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address any client needs.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in telecommunications or a related industry. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is highly desirable.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information in an understandable and persuasive manner.
Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of telecommunications technologies and services. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new products and services.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities effectively.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
