Our successful hotel is looking for a hospitality professional with a sales mindset to assist in helping grow our hotel. You will serve as a liaison between the sales department and the front desk to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience at our hotel in addition to attracting new guests to increase our revenue. You'll be in charge of responding to guest inquiries, contacting potential new guests based on networking and referral leads, and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks including managing group room blocks and inputting rooming lists. Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities • Lead catcher for all leads, qualify and distribute to the sales team • Manage gift certificates • Create reservations for the Sales Team • Manage Reservations changes from Groups Lead Catcher • Qualify all leads prior to forwarding them to the appropriate sales manager/coordinator. Verify date availability, send inquiry information email, gather event/meeting information, budget, and quote minimums • Load lead into Envision and assign to appropriate sales manager • Assign leads in Envision and CRVA page to the appropriate sales manager/coordinator. • Check sales voicemails throughout the day, return calls to qualify leads, and gather more information • Retrieve leads from shared email, respond to and distribute leads Room Blocks • Quote And Contract All corporate rooms only room blocks and social/weekend room blocks • Manage room blocks including entering rooming lists • Detail Social Guest room arrangements after the contract is signed Accounting • Verify final guarantees for all meetings & events and login, change log • Load event actuals into Envision • Invoice for all meetings & events • Post deposits & payments • Collect final guarantees and share them with the team Reports • Manage printed and digital meeting room signs • Managing events without an EO report • Process World of Hyatt meeting planner points • In-House Meetings • Stand-Up Meetings • Resume Meeting / Sales Meeting • Quarterly Staff Meetings Qualifications: • Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities • Good organization and time management skills • Must possess a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major is desired Compensation: $18 hourly potential DOE
