    Job Title: Sales & Service Manager

    Reports to: Assistant General Manager

    FLSA Status: Non-exempt

    Summary: Goldfish Swim School - Burlington is looking for a highly organized and motivated individual to assist with the management of Sales and Services. Primary areas of responsibility include monthly financial reporting, training and support for new front desk team members, maintaining clear communication with front desk team members and management team, obtain lifeguard certification and hold one on-going lifeguard shift per week, and other duties as outlined below. Due to the rapid growth of our school, advancement opportunities exist for the right candidate.

    The ideal candidate for this position is:

    18 years or older

    Comfortable working with children and families

    An organized and excellent interpersonal communicator

    Experienced in training staff members (preferred but not required)

    Able to work with limited supervision.

    Must pass background examinations (included with training)

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Conduct sales calls in accordance with Goldfish Swim Schools core values of Integrity/Compassion/Trust and WOW! Customer Service.

    Communicates with customers in a timely manner via email and phone calls.

    Enrolls students in the proper lesson level according to the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

    Discusses multiple membership opportunities with members.

    Provides leadership, discipline and constructive feedback to Front Desk Representatives.

    Responsible for the overall cleanliness at the front desk and the dry side of the facility.

    Hosts monthly workshops with the employees (front desk related).

    Completes all the monthly Golden Support Reviews for the front desk.

    Sets sales incentives for the front desk employees in conjunction with the Assistant General Manager, to assure that overall goals are considered.

    Ensures the retail and vending areas is clean, professional, stocked, labeled and profitable.

    Responsible for understanding and tracking sales goals as set by management team members.

    Participate in weekly regional sales calls and weekly meetings with Assistant General Manager.

    Maintain ordering and inventory processes.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Safety Standards: The safety of our swimmers, parents and team members is of the utmost importance. Goldfish Swim School follows all CDC and WHO safety standards along with following any local guidelines.

    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or GED. Some college education is preferred. 3 years sales experience or equivalent highly preferred.

    Certificates and Licenses: Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification must be completed within 60 days of hire.

    Work Environment: While performing this job, the employee is exposed to heat and humidity occasionally. Noise level is usually moderate.
