Job Summary: As a Sales Specialist, you will market, prospect, and sell American Family Insurance products. You'll maintain effective customer relationships, understand their needs, and match them with the right products and services. You'll also promote brand awareness through agency and community events.
Responsibilities:
Identify business development opportunities in the local market
Use consultative selling techniques to grow the Agency
Cross-sell and coordinate with team members for additional coverage
Prospect for new business through various channels
Secure new business through individual effort and established lead methods
Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and organize work
Active community involvement
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, etc.)
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Education/Designations:
Property and Casualty insurance licensing preferred before hiring, required before employment
Sales and customer service experience
Bilingual – English & Spanish
