    Job Summary The Sales Specialist provides excellent customer experience for potential and existing customers. Maintains effective customer relationships, understands customers' needs, and matches them with appropriate product and service offerings. Assists the agency owner with attaining agency service goals.

    Responsibilities

    Provides excellent customer experience for potential and existing customers.

    Responds to customer inquiries regarding coverages, billing, or products by following established agency processes and procedures.

    Processes changes to existing accounts and policies.

    Assists customers with claims by directing them to the appropriate Claims Department contacts and resources. Follows up to ensure customer needs are addressed.

    Drives customer satisfaction by following J.D. Power’s best practices: Personal Insurance Review, rate revision notification, and claims process.

    Identifies cross-selling opportunities discovered through customer interactions or data analysis.

    Assists agency owner in achieving agency customer loyalty and satisfaction goals.

    Creates and implements social media content.

    Ensures the agency is implementing all future documentation enhancements that strengthen the customer relationship.

    Qualifications

    Job contingent based on passed Property & Casualty license ahead employment.

    Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities and organize work.

    Active involvement in the local community

    Demonstrated sales and customer service experience.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Demonstrated analytical skills.

    Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.)

    Experience using a wide range of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers.

    Experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.
