    Meet Managing Director, Devin Salinas: Devin is a seasoned Managing Director with Northwestern Mutual (NM), having joined the firm in 2009 as an intern before transitioning to a full-time Financial Representative in 2010. With a strong academic background in Finance and Economics from Linfield College, Devin quickly distinguished himself as one of the top-producing College Financial Representatives during his internship. His consistent dedication to excellence has earned him a spot as a perennial qualifier for the prestigious Lives Leader Summit since 2012. Devin is particularly passionate about working with entrepreneurs, business owners, and retirement clients, helping them navigate complex financial decisions to secure their futures. Outside of his professional achievements, Devin is a devoted husband and a proud "girl dad." He also leads an active lifestyle, having completed numerous long-distance triathlons, including being recognized as an Ironman All World Athlete and a multi-time USAT All-American.

    Key Responsibilities of a Financial Advisor:

    Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their financial goals, aspirations, and concerns.

    Financial Planning: Develop comprehensive financial plans that include investments, insurance, and retirement.

    Insurance Solutions: Recommend and implement insurance strategies to protect clients' assets and income.

    Ongoing Support: Monitor clients' financial plans and provide regular updates, adjusting strategies as needed to meet changing circumstances.

    Networking: Build and maintain a network of clients through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations.

    Qualifications:

    Experience: Previous experience in financial services or insurance is not required.

    Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.

    Licenses: Obtain necessary licenses, such as Series 6, 63, and state insurance licenses (training and sponsorship available).
