    Job Description

    Ingram Content Group (ICG) **** is **** hiring a Sales & Support Representative to join our dynamic sales team in NYC. This individual will provide a high level of sales support to the Publishers Group West and crossbrand National Accounts Sales team, accounts, and client publishers. This role will perform routine sales and administrative support duties for the sales team, assisting in preparation for new titles sales presentations and provided special projects support and analysis for sales.

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 2 years of sales and/or customer service experience
    • 1 year experience working with MS Office or equivalent in a school or work setting

    OR

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 1 year experience working with MS Office or equivalent in a school or work setting

    Preferred Skills:

    • Familiarity with MS Excel functionality, including using formulas, v-lookups, and pivot tables
    • Experience in the publishing industry or a related field, with a familiarity in book sales
    • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
    • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive while supporting disparate segments of the account base.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepares national account reps for sales calls by creating monthly lists of titles, gathering materials, prepping sales packets, creating Edelweiss collections, and tracking drops ins.
    • Supports BN, Books-A-Million, and Baker & Taylor national account reps.
    • Creates and sends daily, weekly POS reports for our distribution brands/accounts.
    • Liaises with client services teams to ensure sell-in materials are available for sales calls.
    • Backlist and brand sales analysis as required.
    • Provides administrative support to VP, Sales including sales reporting on a routine basis.

    Hiring Salary Range: $23.61 - $29.00/hr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
