    Position description: This IS NOT A CALL CENTER/COLD CALLING TYPE JOB! Be the initial point of contact for customers and support field sales and our design staff by managing the processes associated with initial customer set-up; monitoring communications, both verbal and written; and be the outbound contact with customers and prospects.

    Communications

    Answer incoming phone calls and walk-in prospects

    Gather customer information and request additional information

    Monitor e-mail account for on-line "requests for estimates" and "contact me" requests.

    Take Credit Card information for deposit or final payment

    Make follow-up calls and email communications to clients

    Sales Support

    Complete basic/simple estimates.

    Contact vendors to get cost information.

    Source hard-to-find materials, parts, and components for use in building estimates.

    Work with the sales team to begin the estimating process: Work with the design team to gather information for the quoting process where possible

    Skills/ Experience

    Experience in a customer-facing role is required.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

    Must be proficient in using PC-based browsers and PC-based computer programs.

    Ability to learn new software such as Adobe Illustrator for sizing projects for estimating.

    Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations correctly.

    Experience in a sign or printing business is not required but considered a plus for this role.

    Ability to multitask when necessary while providing primary focus to prioritized tasks.

    Minimum requirements:

    Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to provide their own transportation to/from work.

    Must at a minimum have a high school degree, an associate degree is a plus.

    Must be fluent in English and be able to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.

    Must have legible handwriting skills.
