We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging sales training programs that enhance the skills and performance of our sales team. This role requires a strong understanding of sales methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement comprehensive sales training programs, including onboarding for new hires and continuous development for existing staff.
Conduct engaging training sessions through various formats such as in-person workshops, virtual classrooms, and e-learning modules.
New hire trainings should be covering topics like sales techniques, product knowledge, objection handling, closing strategies, and customer relationship management. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics to ensure learning objectives are met.
Collaborate with Sales Director to identify training needs and develop targeted learning solutions.
Stay updated on the latest sales techniques, industry trends, and product knowledge to ensure content relevance.
Provide coaching and mentorship to sales team members to reinforce learning and support skill development.
Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and documentation.
Analyze sales performance data to identify gaps and recommend improvement strategies.
Travel to different states to train new hires
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Proven experience as a Sales Trainer, Sales Coach, or in a similar sales enablement role.
Strong background in sales, with hands-on experience in a sales position preferred.
Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
Ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess training effectiveness and ROI.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must have sales experience Tobacco, CBD or in the vape industry
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Odoo etc.)
Knowledge of instructional design principles.
Certification in sales methodologies is a plus.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9 AM to 6 PM Saturdays 9 AM to 1 PM
