Sales & Event Coordinator The Range in McKinney a family owned indoor shooting range is seeking a Sales Representative and Event Coordinator. Candidate must have excellent sales skills, have an ability to work with people of all types, a professional demeanor and enjoy working in a retail and office environment. As well as exceptional customer service skills, an ability to multi-task and work without direction. If you are wanting to get into the gun business and have no sales skills, please refrain from applying. This is not an event planner position. This position requires sales skills and event planning abilities.

Job Description:

We are an 18-lane indoor range with class/meeting rooms, virtual simulator, retail and event area.

Our Sales Representative will:

Sell Memberships, range and simulator time to municipalities and corporations

Work with Law Enforcement, School Marshall’s and Security companies and Churches

Ability to cold call via phone and in person – you must be able to talk to people

Sell private events (birthday, company, church parties)

Coordinate bookings

Maintain range event calendar

Assist groups planning events

Coordinate events with retail staff

Represent The Range at social events (Chamber events, etc.)

Give tours to prospective clients

What are we looking for? We are looking for a person who enjoys selling and working with people. Someone who is happy to come to work knowing they are doing something good. Someone who is professional and outgoing. Candidate must know, sales will not always come walking in the door, they must go out and find them.

Must be 21 and older. All staff will be subject to a background check. If you cannot purchase a firearm legally in the US do not apply. Drug test and lead level test will also be performed. If you have no sales skills, please do not apply. This is not a work at home position. If you do not wish to come to work this is not the job for you. We expect our staff to leave their personal drama outside of our business. We are not a woke business.
