Sales and Operations Manager - Electric Power Generation - Base Salary to 150k/year - Farmingdale, NY
- Our client, a world leader in industrial cleaning technology, is seeking a Sales and Operations Manager to manage a team and all relative departments within their Farmingdale, NY location.
- In this role, the Sales and Operation Manager will be responsible for overseeing various departments such as service, accounting, sales, etc. The Sales and Operations Manager will also manage a team, travel to other locations, facilitate sales presentations, and ensure project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage staff and assigns tasks to various departments
- Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes
- Oversee project logistics and resource allocation
- Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs
- Secures the resources needed for teams to excel
- Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies
- Attends trade shows, conferences, and makes site visits to suppliers’ facilities
- Communicates technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including investors and potential customers
- Collaborates with other team leaders and departments
- Forges and maintains relationships with suppliers and customers
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Operations Management
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Proven experience with projects, project completion, and contract review
- Proven sales experience
- Experience in running teams of 10-20+ people preferred
- Must be local to Farmingdale, NY (50 miles)
