We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Data Steward to monitor, analyze, and enhance the quality and integrity of data across Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Salesforce data, ensuring adherence to governance standards, and providing actionable insights through reports and dashboards. This role is essential to maintaining clean, accurate, and consistent data, driving better decision-making, and optimizing business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1\. Salesforce Data Stewardship:
Monitor and improve data quality within Salesforce by enforcing governance rules, data standards, and best practices across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
2\. Process-Integrated Data Analysis:
Analyze business processes and data flows impacting Salesforce records, including workflows, user updates, and integrations with external systems. Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for process improvement.
3\. Reporting & Insights:
Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to deliver actionable insights on user behavior, business performance, and data quality. Translate business questions into meaningful data analysis.
4\. Data Integrity & Quality Management:
Implement and maintain quality controls, validation rules, and monitoring processes to ensure accurate and complete Salesforce data. Resolve inconsistencies or gaps by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
5\. Cross-System Data Governance:
Support data governance across interconnected systems (e.g., CPQ, ERP, marketing platforms) to maintain data accuracy and fidelity during transformations and sync processes.
6\. Documentation & Standards Maintenance:
Maintain detailed documentation of data definitions, standards, and lineage across Salesforce objects. Act as a knowledge resource for data-related queries.
7\. User Enablement & Best Practices:
Develop guidance, training materials, and self-service resources to promote consistent data entry and improve data quality awareness across business units.
8\. Master Data Management (MDM) & Data Quality Enablement:
Leverage Salesforce tools (e.g., validation rules, duplicate management) and external MDM solutions to reduce duplication, enhance governance, and maintain scalable data management frameworks.
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Sales Operations, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related fields).
3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or reporting, ideally in a Sales, Marketing, or Customer Operations environment.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce as a primary data source, including report and dashboard creation across multiple clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
Strong understanding of Salesforce data structures, standard objects (e.g., Leads, Accounts, Opportunities), and reporting tools.
Familiarity with data quality principles, data governance, and master data management (MDM) concepts.
Experience with data visualization tools to present insights and support stakeholder decisions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to distill complex data issues into actionable solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Associate, Salesforce Administrator).
Experience working with data from integrated platforms (e.g., CPQ, ERP, marketing automation tools, customer portals) that impact Salesforce data.
Previous experience in Sales Operations, Sales, Manufacturing, or a related industry is a plus.
Familiarity with MDM tools or frameworks and related certifications or training.
Developing knowledge of emerging technologies and their impact on data management.
