Role Summary:
The Salesforce Developer will customize and optimize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components to align with organizational goals. This role involves collaborating with an external Salesforce Architect consultant to design and deliver solutions, manage data integrations, troubleshoot issues, and document processes. The candidate will also be responsible for staying current with Salesforce updates and providing escalated user support as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Build Solutions: Develop tailored Salesforce applications and features, including custom components using Apex, Lightning, and Visualforce, to address organizational needs.
- Collaborate with Experts: Partner with an external Salesforce Architect and internal team members to turn business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- System Configuration and Integration: Set up Salesforce workflows, automate processes, and seamlessly integrate third-party applications into the platform.
- Ensure Quality and Performance: Conduct in-depth testing, troubleshooting, and performance checks to deliver high-quality and reliable solutions, including regression testing in complex Salesforce environments.
- Document Processes: Keep detailed and organized documentation of system changes, configurations, and third-party integrations to maintain knowledge continuity.
- Advanced User Support: Address escalated technical issues and provide expert-level support to resolve complex problems efficiently.
- Stay Informed: Research and implement updates from Salesforce to optimize tools and introduce new capabilities that align with the organization’s goals.
- Strong Communication and Collaboration: Clearly articulate technical details to team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience through Salesforce certifications and hands-on learning.
- Professional Experience: At least 5–7 years of hands-on Salesforce development, including experience in building custom solutions with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. Familiarity with Salesforce Person Accounts and highly customized environments is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Salesforce tools such as SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and APIs for system integration.
- Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer (I or II) certifications are desirable but not required.
