    About the Position The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our Salesforce ecosystem. This role focuses on Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Mobile Publisher, LWC & Apex. The engineer will ensure that data and environment is available, reliable, and easily accessible, supporting various business requirements and initiatives.

    Essential Functions/Competencies

    Essential Functions This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

    Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce/Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components

    Deliver across the product life cycle including product evaluations, solution design, custom development, testing, integrations, and implementation support.

    Leads or participates in architecture and technical design sessions

    Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews

    Coordinates release documentation and communications, including training and customer, service management, and technical release notes.

    Identify and resolve technical challenges and partners closely with the team to communicate to relevant audiences

    Support and assist with implementation of integration with other applications

    Participate in technical design sessions; propose robust scalable solutions and assist in the development of technical solution documentation.

    Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze and delivers on assigned user stories

    Proactively communicates risks and issues with recommendations to the team and product

    Adhere to defined coding standards and develop well-structured maintainable code.

    Effectively debug and resolve reported issues or defects reported

    Implementation of integration and 3rd party applications

    Duties as Assigned

    Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Director of Enterprise Applications or executive management.

    Required Education and Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field, or equivalent training plus work experience.

    3-5+ years of experience in salesforce development.

    Certified Salesforce Developer I (PD1) required

    Certified Salesforce’s JavaScript Developer I is required

    Platform Developer II is a plus

    Experience with Salesforce’s Experience Cloud, Mobile Publisher, or Marketing Cloud is a plus.

    Proficient understanding and hands-on experience with Apex.

    Experience building and maintaining LWC components.

    Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle.

    Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance requirements.

    Experience with code versioning tools such as Git and Salesforce CLI.

    Understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) in a cloud environment.

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

    Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for managing stakeholders and facilitating team discussions.

    Problem-solving and organizational skills to effectively remove impediments and prioritize tasks.

    Experience in coaching and mentoring teams on Agile best practices and principles.

    Familiarity with technical project lifecycles and knowledge of software development processes (SDLC) is highly beneficial.

    Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.

    Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) preferred.

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility, however the employee may be asked to mentor and teach more junior IT team members.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, shredding and fax machines.

    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform duties consistent with a typical office environment.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days Monday through Friday, working between hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    Travel

    Travel is primarily local during business days, although occasional out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected based on individuals job responsibilities.
