Salesforce Principal Engineer

• Salary: $165,000-$195,000 + 30% bonus

Salesforce Principal Engineer Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions
• Develop custom Salesforce applications and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs
• Create comprehensive technical specification documents and application interface designs
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members
• Lead and participate in design discussions, code reviews, and project-related team meetings
• Apply expert-level analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues.
• Evaluate and recommend new Salesforce tools and technologies
• Aid in troubleshooting and resolving data and system issues
• Offer technical leadership to fellow IT staff members

KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators):
• Deliver Salesforce solutions that are 95% defect-free provided adequate written business requirements, development time, and business test review
• Improved stability of Salesforce platform

Salesforce Principal Engineer Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of hands-on experience within software design and development, and application integration using Salesforce
• 3+ years of experience in a Lead Salesforce development or architect role
• 5+ years of Salesforce implementation experience; 2 years on the Lightning Platform
• Extensive experience with Salesforce development and implementation, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, and integration technologies
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security
• Experience with integration tools, middleware (e.g. MuleSoft, informatica) and Agile methodologies
• Salesforce certifications are highly desirable
