Lawn Doctor is looking for a dependable, dedicated individual to join our team as a salesperson. The ideal candidate is focused on providing high-quality, customer-focused service to current and potential clients. Our salespeople work with current clients to promote and sell additional services and with prospects to convert them to Lawn Doctor clients. Lawn Doctor believes that employees who are given the chance to grow professionally and be part of a true team will in turn help grow our business.
The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated, self-starter who is goal-oriented and hard-working, and has excellent customer service and communication skills. Your main focus is customer service and maintaining the high level of care we provide during and after a sale. You are responsible for taking care of every client that you talk to and you will be responsible for handling any issues that arise from new sales you make.
You need to have a strong work ethic, willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, keep a kind and friendly attitude, strong computer skills and excellent communication skills. Training will be provided on our software. Actual work experience in the lawn care industry is highly desirable, but not required.
Primary Responsibilities
Answering incoming sales calls and provide pricing to prospective clients
Creating estimates utilizing our software and sending them via email, text or over the phone
Measuring properties utilizing overhead imaging software to ensure accuracy in pricing
Handles full sales follow up to all leads brought into the office
Help ensure full customer satisfaction by providing top-notch service
Interacting directly with leads to convert into new Lawn Doctor clients
Interacting with existing clients to add additional services to their program(s)
Maintaining a strong focus on quality service for every current and potential client
Retaining customers through proactive post sales follow-up
Developing an in-depth knowledge of Lawn Doctor services and values to assist current clients and prospects
Position Requirements
Sales experience
Microsoft Office experience (strong focus on Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Strong work ethic
Valid driver’s license
Available to work in an office or remotely
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
