Job Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team! We are a personal injury law firm with 45-55 employees.  This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of experience in HR or a similar office admin position looking for their career job and plant their roots.  This position will have plenty of room for growth and advancement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees
• On-board new employees
• Assist with implementing company culture, values and policies
• Provide management with requested reports and documents
• Work with 3rd party partners to manage benefits plans and ensure accurate
• Maintain and report employees' worked time and vacation/PTO hours
• Accurately maintain employee files
• Ensure all new hires and existing associates possess proper employment eligibility verifications.
• Perform employee exit interviews
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or other related fields
• Knowledge of labor and employment laws
• Ability to build rapport with all employees
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

COMPENSATION

• $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 DOE
