    Job Overview:

    36 Granada is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sandwich Line Cook to join our culinary team. This position plays a key role in preparing high-quality sandwiches, artisanal toasts, and other light fare with precision and creativity. The ideal candidate has experience working in an upscale or fine-dining setting and demonstrates a strong commitment to consistency, presentation, and food safety.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Prepare and assemble gourmet sandwiches, paninis, and other menu items according to restaurant standards.

    Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepped for service.

    Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sandwich station.

    Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.

    Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as slicers, grills, and ovens.

    Collaborate with other line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

    Follow food safety and sanitation protocols in accordance with health regulations.

    Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.

    Adapt to menu changes and special requests with efficiency and precision.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    1-2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in an upscale or fine-dining setting.

    Strong knife skills and experience handling fresh, high-quality ingredients.

    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

    Passion for food, presentation, and attention to detail.

    Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.

    Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

    Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
