    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sandwich Maker & Prep Cook to join the Liberty Heights Fresh team! This role involves preparing and serving gourmet sandwiches and assisting in the overall kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food offerings and exceptional customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sandwich Preparation: Assemble and make a variety of gourmet sandwiches using fresh, high-quality ingredients, adhering to our recipes and presentation standards.
    • Food Prep: Prepare ingredients for the sandwich bar, which include chopping vegetables, slicing meats and cheeses, and preparing sauces and spreads to support daily operations. As well as supporting the kitchen in food prep as needed.
    • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers at the sandwich counter, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their dining experience. Deliver exceptional service with a friendly attitude.
    • Sanitation and Safety: Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a clean and organized work environment. Regularly check food quality and freshness.
    • Inventory Management: Help monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and maintain proper stock of ingredients to ensure timely service.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations, especially during peak hours.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a food service, deli, or sandwich-making environment preferred.
    • High attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and presentation guidelines.
    • Strong knife skills and an understanding of basic cooking techniques.
    • Excellent customer service skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
    • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
