SPIN Global is a Maryland-based public benefit corporation that exists to disrupt disasters from neighborhoods to nations. We are seeking qualified applicants to build a deployment-ready cadre, prepared to support response operations as opportunities arise. Applicants must possess a FEMA Entry on Duty (EOD).
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee sanitation and wastewater engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide sustainable engineering solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and evaluations for sanitation systems.
- Analyze and resolve sanitation-related challenges in disaster recovery scenarios.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience in a related field and professional registration; or
- Bachelor's Degree with 15 years of experience in a related field.
- Certification: Professional Engineer (PE).
- Proficiency in disaster recovery processes, including completion of FEMA courses preferred:
- IS-1000: Public Assistance Program and Eligibility.
- IS-1001: The Public Assistance Delivery Model Orientation.
- IS-1002: FEMA Grants Portal - Transparency at Every Step.
- IS-1004: The FEMA Site Inspection Process.
- IS-1018: Determination Memorandums and Appeals.
- 7116: Program Delivery Manager.
- 7117: Site Inspection.
- Work onsite in North Carolina.
- EOD Required.
