The PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE is a multi-facetted role that supports all aspects of the loading dock and soft production areas in the store. Key task include but are not limited to the following: unloading and recording trucks, starting, porting baling and recycling product.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Grab and open every bag/ box from an assigned work area.
• Redirect all clothing, linens, shoes, and accessories to the appropriate crew member to be sorted and priced.
• Must maintain an adequate pace, as the entire production line awaits the presorted product.
• Responsible for maintaining the presorting area neat, clean, and organized.
• Bales merchandise (where or when applicable) per instructed method.
• Organizes work and dock areas to safely stage product bales
• Assist porter in rotating clothing and trash bins when needed
• Perform at a consistent pace.
• Ensure that all residual product will be transported to the appropriate workstation using the assigned equipment Organize the recycling station by setting up Gaylord boxes for each currently approved category.
• Carefully package fragile items following approved method.
• Unload trucks in a timely manner
• Stack all merchandise according to the company SOP, weight and safety standards
• Record the data in the company inventory platform electronically weight of the empty Gaylord box and wooden pallet.
• Must be able to be present in assigned working area during scheduled work hours
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations

• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency – High pace environment.
• Must be able to have rotating flexible availability.
• Ability to preserve the confidentiality of information
