Do you want a fast paced and challenging work environment? SC2 is looking for a highly motivated team player to join our Warehouse Team as a full-time Logistics Planning Analyst.  The right candidate will perform both operational and tactical work to meet plant logistics deliverables.  As a Logistics Planning Analyst, you will receive direction from a Facility Logistics Engineer, and are responsible for ensuring material is shipped, received, stored or delivered quickly and efficiently.  Position will be located at Customer site.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Performing tasks to improve inbound and outbound material flow
• Participating in continuous improvement projects
• Work with suppliers to manage material requirements and material flow
• Investigating root causes and performing corrective action to resolve transportation issues
• Scheduling supplier deliveries by common carrier and administering returnable container programs
• Performing tasks supporting carrier collaboration,  plant site material logistics
• Optimizing material flow throughout the plant site
• Additional duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge and understanding of MRP systems
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Microsoft Office Experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering
• A minimum of one year of supply chain or related field job experience
