Job Description:
Responsible for scheduling nursing staff hours to work, handling employee call-ins, preparing timesheets for payroll, and other clerical tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Create work schedules for all Nursing staff using scheduling software
- Handle employee call-ins and assist DON and Administrator in finding shiftreplacements in a timely manner.
- Post and update daily assignments and staffing FTE’s for the nursing department
- Monitor attendance records for all Nursing employees, report all issues in atimely manner to the DON, AL Director, Administrator, and Human ResourcesDirector
- Review PTO requests of employees and make decisions on approval according tothe request off policy for each department
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must possess a cheerful personality and be able to work harmoniously withother personnel.
- Be able to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite, Scheduling and Time and Attendancesoftware
- Must have a working knowledge of computers, input/output data,telephone/paging system, etc
- Regular attendance is required
