Description
The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling all McMillen Health programs for schools, community organizations, etc. which may be contracted, fee for services, or grant funded. This position is a part-time 10-month hourly position and reports directly to the Director of Educational Services.
Responsibilities
· Answers phones and responds to voicemails.
· Generates e-mails as requested and for scheduling purposes. Follows up on responses to e-mails.
· Takes direction from Lead Scheduler in scheduling all program classes – work closely with Director of Educational Services and other scheduling staff.
· Ensure grant funded programs and contracted schools are scheduled within given timeframe.
· Corresponds with schools, organizations, etc.
· Coordinate and distribute teacher information related to scheduled programming.
· Organizes and coordinates educator scheduling folders.
· Responsible for McMillen Health Reservation System scheduling entries for all programming information.
· Responsible for McMillen Health’s Mom and Me Days.
· Actively supports and promotes the organizations strategic and operational plans.
· Actively supports all efforts to increase cooperation, communication and collaboration between and among staff members and volunteers.
· Demonstrates sound time-management skills by effectively and efficiently organizing, prioritizing and completing multiple assignments in a timely manner.
· Maintains strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
· Understands importance of seeking resolution to issues by working toward a solution in a timely manner.
· Seeks to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of McMillen’s operations with positive and creative approaches to challenges.

· Attends meetings as scheduled.
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Educational Services, Director of Operations & Sustainability, and CEO.
Qualifications
· High School graduate; prefer Associates Degree in Business or a minimum of 4 years experience in office administration
· Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
· Excellent telephone skills
· Working knowledge and experience with in the following computer applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access. Willingness to learn new software programs.
· Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Inside sales experience preferred.
· Professional and personable appearance and manner
· Valid, Active Drivers License
Compensation Package includes:
· Salary: $18-$20/hour
· Paid Time Off (PTO): 3 weeks annually, with the ability to roll over ½ to the next fiscal year
