Float Health is building the marketplace for specialty pharmacy. Our mission is to make healthcare safer, easier, and more efficient by moving all care that doesn't need a hospital to the home.
Float connects nurses with patients so they can get treatments for their chronic conditions in the home rather than going into the overcrowded hospital. The model is unique in that all stakeholders benefit - patients get more convenient care, nurses get access to flexible work for better pay on their days off, pharmacies fill more prescriptions, impacted hospitals reduce admission for loss-leading low reimbursement patients, and payors enjoy 12x reduced costs when care is delivered at home.
Our patients are largely chronic, requiring regular treatments to sustain their quality of life. Nurses are burnt out with hectic hospital shifts and love that our platform allows them the flexibility and autonomy to create their own schedules. Providers want reliability, quality, and minimal effort to find nurses for their prescriptions.
We are distributed across the world and remote-first. We care deeply about communication, empathy, curiosity, autonomy, and velocity of execution. Having closed our Series A in 2023, we're at an inflection point in our growth. We've successfully facilitated over 40,000 patient visits and are now scaling our platform, team, and operations to serve more geographies and patients.
As a Scheduling Specialist, you will play an integral part in our operations and customer success by managing new patient referrals and coordinating nursing care. You will liaise between specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients through various technology platforms to secure nursing, ensure smooth communication, and successful care delivery. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
In addition to operational responsibilities, delivering exceptional customer service is crucial. You will be the first point of contact for pharmacies, patients, and nurses, ensuring their needs are met with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to a seamless experience. Your ability to provide timely and accurate support will be essential in fostering trust and maintaining high satisfaction across all interactions.
You will work cross-functionally with all operations teams and our technology teams to unify processes, provide feedback, and help build automation that enhances efficiency and scalability.
This is a full-time contractor role with the opportunity to convert after 2 months.
