Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE Candidate will ensure the timely, economical and through processing of materials in the system as well as concentrating on the accuracy of deliveries. Making sure the right material arrives in the right time and to the right unloading point. RESPONSIBILITIES * · Adherence to safety principles at all times * · Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned · * · Promote, comply and adhere to safety standards and OSHA regulations * · Comply with quality standards * · Submit and support suggestions / ideas for improvement / Kaizen * · Adhere to 5S standards in areas of responsibility * · Comply with the emergency strategies in place * · Execute tasks and processes according to training manuals and instruction * Execute on time processing of material flow KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED * Love data mining and analysis. * Ability to run and thoroughly analyze reports. * Very strong MS-Excel skills * High school diploma or equivalent * Timely and quality processing of materials in area of responsibility * Filing and archiving of applicable paperwork PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIORNMENT * · Must be able to work in a plant and office environment * · Noise level may be high * · The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Bending and/or reaching may be required. * · Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on Shop Floor to prevent injury to self or others.
