    Join Paving the Way MSI as a School-Based Behavioral Health Clinician, where you’ll provide vital mental health services within school environments, supporting students, families, and staff. This role focuses on prevention, early intervention, and mental health care, aligned with the Public Health Model. As a full-time clinician, you’ll foster a supportive, therapeutic environment and make a meaningful impact on students’ lives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Service Delivery: Provide school-based mental health services, including workshops, small groups, and classroom interventions. Deliver Tier II and Tier III supports with a minimum of 18 hours of direct care per week.

    Caseload Management & Documentation: Manage a culturally responsive caseload, complete assessments, and ensure timely documentation in compliance with agency guidelines.

    Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with the School Behavioral Health Team and participate in the School Strengthening Workplan. Communicate progress in bi-weekly meetings with the wellness/mental health team.

    Evaluation & Reporting: Write required reports, attend DBH/DOH meetings as needed, and ensure accurate billing for treatment services.

    School Engagement: Organize school-wide activities, including wellness events for families and staff, and support students using organizational resources like counseling or case management.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling (LGSW/LGPC required).

    Experience: 1-3 years of experience in outpatient mental health services for youth or adults preferred.

    Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Electronic Medical Records, and culturally sensitive service delivery. Strong ability to adapt, manage change, and demonstrate respect for cultural differences.
