We have a wonderful Board-CertifiedBehavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity at one of our partner School District in Vancouver, WA. This position in in-person and full-time.
You will play a vital role in providing comprehensive behavioral support to students within the school system. Your expertise in conducting behavior assessments, developing and implementing intervention plans, and collaborating with school staff will help create positive learning environments. By supporting students in achieving their behavioral goals, you will contribute to their academic success, social-emotional growth, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing tailored behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to address students’ behavioral needs.
- Provide direct behavior support, implement interventions and guiding students in developing positive behaviors.
- Collaborate on tracking and analyzing student progress, maintaining detailed records in compliance with school regulations.
- Work with school staff to integrate behavioral strategies, offering practical approaches for classroom management.
- Support crisis intervention efforts, teaching de-escalation techniques and assisting students during behavioral incidents.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), attending meetings and providing behavioral insights.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and teachers, offering guidance and resources to reinforce positive behaviors.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in school-based behavioral interventions.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- State licensure or certification, if required by the state’s regulations for school-based BCBAs.
- Additional certification or training in areas such as crisis intervention or special education (preferred in some districts).
