    Key Responsibilities:

    Leadership & Supervision: Lead and supervise School-Based Therapists across up to six schools, ensuring the delivery of behavioral health services on all Tiers (1-3).

    Communication & Collaboration: Maintain strong communication with school administration, Department of Behavioral Health (DBH), and Paving the Way MSI. Collaborate on school-wide initiatives. Cultivate effective relationships with DC school system and Department of Health (DOH) representatives. Treat colleagues with respect and use appropriate feedback channels.

    Training & Crisis Support: Train therapists on evidence-based interventions and provide support during school-related crises. Guide individual and group therapy sessions.

    Documentation & Compliance: Ensure timely, accurate documentation, including supervision logs and reports. Monitor compliance with program standards.

    Professional Development: Participate in required training, engage with the organization’s Community of Practice, and meet regularly with schools to address needs.

    Performance Evaluation: Prepare monthly performance reports and participate in evaluation activities with DBH and external evaluators.

    Supervisory Compliance: Ensure compliance with supervisory requirements, including training and cultural competence. Submit monthly logs of supervision activities.

    Education/Experience:

    Required: Master’s degree in social work or counseling.

    Required License: LPC/LICSW

    Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in outpatient mental health services for youth and/or adults.
