PRO Pediatric Services, is seeking an exceptional School-Based Mobile Therapist (MT) to provide within a school-based behavioral health program at a local intermediate unit.

- Location: Tunkhannock, PA
- Schedule: Full-time, year-round. M-F, 8am-4pm
- Caseload: K-12
- Requirements: Master’s degree related to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or related field is required.

Job Description:
- Develop, write and direct the implementation of therapeutic support plans for students experiencing mental health struggles.
- Provide consultation with all involved parties including family, school, and community members.
- Assess referred students and families for needs and refer to other providers, as needed.
- Provide de-escalation and counseling to students in crisis and emotional distress.
- Offer group and individual counseling, as needed.
- Conduct assessments and design behavior / crisis plans. Design, implement, and monitor behavioral modification plans, as needed.
- Participate in the Student Assistance Program (SAP), as needed.
- Maintain contact with families and school personnel to ensure communication, collaboration, and the provision of an appropriate level/type of intervention to meet student needs.
What You Bring:
- Master's degree related to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or related field is required and must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Hold a license as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker
- Hold a license as a social worker or behavior specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
- Have a minimum of one-year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, or counseling
- Complete a clinical or mental health direct service practicum with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counselor or related field.
- Current clearances (within 6 months)
