    The School-Based Program Manager is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and operational effectiveness of mental health services delivered within designated school communities. This role supports and maintains the program's mission, goals, and outcomes in alignment with MBI Health Services' values and the expectations of partnering schools and the Department of Behavioral Health (DBH). The School-Based Program Manager, a key member of the Behavioral Health leadership team, ensures high-quality, data-informed service delivery, supervises clinical staff, and serves as a liaison between MBI, school personnel, students, and families. This position fosters integrated collaboration across all stakeholders to support student wellness and school success.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

    • Develop and implement work plans to support effective outcomes for students, families, and schools, with clearly defined measures of success.
    • Provide metrics and operational oversight of program effectiveness by collecting and reporting all required data points through iCAMS, Credible, or an approved alternative database.
    • Utilize databases to manage Flexible Spending funds, track reported expenditures, and submit monthly reports or ad hoc updates to DBH as requested.
    • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to promote continuous improvement in outcomes aligned with student and family goals.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and performance metrics useful in evaluating the program’s operational success.
    • Engage school teams and families with program services and ensure the delivery of quality care both in school settings and home environments.
    • Coordinate referrals and assess the appropriateness of placements within the SCHOOL-BASED PROGRAM; ensure services align with treatment plans and offer comprehensive, integrated support.
    • Ensure all program requirements are met and compliant with standards set by regulatory bodies and facility policies, in collaboration with SCHOOL-BASED PROGRAM Clinicians.
    • Review and interpret service plans, psychological assessments, and other clinical documentation to assess client needs and support Clinicians in service delivery.
    • Coordinate staff meetings and provide regular supervision to the SCHOOL-BASED PROGRAM Clinical team to enhance performance outcomes.
    • Perform all managerial duties required by MBI, including documenting performance issues, completing staff evaluations, and participating in recruitment and selection of new hires.
    • Serve as a liaison with school personnel to promote transparent communication and collaborative engagement with all members of the school community, including families.
    • Monitor the coordination of services to ensure proper implementation and adjustment of the program’s multi-tiered components as needed.
    • Ensure that all staff complete timely and accurate documentation of services and behaviors in clinical records, in compliance with MBI, DC, and federal regulatory guidelines.
    • Provide direct training and supervision to SCHOOL-BASED PROGRAM Clinicians to ensure understanding and application of appropriate therapeutic models and modalities.
    • Work in collaboration with consultants to oversee implementation of the program model and maintain alignment with quality standards.
    • Provide orientation and ongoing training to the SCHOOL-BASED PROGRAM team to support delivery of a comprehensive and integrated program.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Social work or related field
    • LPC or LICSW in Washington, DC
    • 1-3 years supervising licensed staff
    • Must have exceptional customer service skills
    • Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Must be a team player
    • Must have intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite
